Guernsey Air Display takes place each September. The Island has enjoyed an annual air show in the month of September for over four decades.
Aircraft performed amazing aerobatics for more than 2 hours, above the Guernsey Harbours. This year’s display took place on 8 September and included breathtaking aerobatics from display teams such as The Red Arrows, AeroSparx and Breitling Wingwalkers.
Beautiful hot weather allowed the show to be watched by thousands of spectators. The full line-up for planes that took to the skies in the Guernsey Air Display 2016 was:
- Battle of Britain Memorial Flight comprising the Spitfire, Hurricane and Dakota
- Stearman PT17 Kaydet (Tom Lackey WingWalk Displays)
