The GI 275 is a multi-function electronic instrument with a higher resolution display
Capable of operating as a standalone display, the GI 275 has proven to be a popular Garmin installation featuring a bright, sunlight readable, 3⅛-inch diameter colour display that is sized to fit in a standard instrument cut-out.
The GI 275 Multi-Function Instrument can be configured as the following indicator types; Primary and Standby Attitude Display Indicator, Horizontal Situational Indicator (HSI) and Enhanced Horizontal Situational Indicator (EHSI), Engine Instrument System Indicator (EIS) and Multi-Function Display Indicator (MFD).
A highly requested unit which is compatible with both the G5 and GI275 is the GFC500 autopilot.
The GFC 500 autopilot uniquely integrates with the GI 275 or G5 electronic flight instruments as a combination of either a standby GI 275 or G5 electronic flight instrument interfaced to a G500 TXi™ flight display; or a G3X Touch™ flight display to provide pilots with an economical and modern autopilot solution.
The full-featured GFC 500 autopilot provides a long list of general aviation aircraft with a simple, lightweight, cost-effective autopilot upgrade path.
