GI 275
Introducing GI 275, a powerful electronic flight instrument that directly replaces legacy primary flight instruments in the cockpit. The GI 275 is suitable as a direct replacement for a variety of instruments including, an attitude indicator, attitude directional indicator (ADI), course deviation indicator (CDI), horizontal situation indicator (HSI) and engine indication system (EIS). As a primary engine indicating system it allows the removal of the old analogue engine instruments. It is rated as a primary source of air speed and altitude information so the old ASI and Altimeter can be removed.
Capable of serving as a 4-in-1 flight instrument, the GI 275 can also be installed as a standby to a number of glass flight displays and is available with a 60-minute back-up battery. Lightweight and compact, it is intentionally designed to take advantage of the common 3.125-inch flight instrument size, reducing installation time and preserving the existing aircraft panel. It’s also compatible with a variety of third-party autopilots and does not require a separate interface adapter, further reducing installation labour.
Commander 114B G500, GTN750/650 & EDM930
With ASG’s deep experience of Commander aircraft along with extensive avionics expertise and a full understanding of integrated cockpit solutions, we transformed this instrument panel into a complete glass cockpit display. Including a G500 system, the GTN750 and its counterpart the GTN650, this aircraft now has complete traffic and navigational displays to replace the standard 6 pack instruments and includes Synthetic Vision Technology. In addition, we fitted the latest in Engine Data Management in the JPI EDM930.
The extent of changes to the instrument panel necessitated a complete re-design. This was conducted in close co-ordination with the client, ensuring each and every switch position, screen height and warning light was fully in tune with operator requirements. The result is a bespoke and completely custom instrument panel. This design coordination was carried out before the aircraft even rolled through the hangar doors, thus giving ample time for careful consideration of the options before the work was commenced.
